The ticket is personal and valid only for the journey for which it was issued.
PASSENGERS:
1. During the trip, passengers are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings both inside and outside the ship. The Shipping Company is not liable for the loss or damage of passengers' private property, such as cash, jewelry, decorative items, computers, artworks, other valuables, etc.
2. Passengers are not allowed to carry explosives, flammable and hazardous substances, drugs, or similar items such as knives, weapons of any kind, prohibited substances, etc. The Captain and/or the Shipping Company have the right to confiscate or take any other measures in relation to weapons. Passengers carrying or handling such items may be required to disembark without any further liability for the Shipping Company. Failure to comply with the rules constitutes a violation of these terms and makes the passenger strictly liable to the Shipping Company for any claim, fine, or financial penalty arising from this breach (including, but not limited to, legal costs or other expenses related to the enforcement process, based on full compensation). The passenger may be subject to legal fines or other penalties. The Captain has the right at any time, without prior notice, to search the luggage, other items belonging to the passenger, or to conduct a physical search of the passenger, and the passenger consents to this search.
3. Passengers are responsible if they consume alcoholic beverages or use substances that cause them to be in a state that may result in any injury, loss of life, and/or other damage inside the ship or during the journey. Neither the Captain, the crew, nor the Shipping Company are liable for the above.
4. Passengers must comply with Port and Health regulations.
5. Passengers declare and guarantee that they are mentally and physically capable of traveling and that their behavior will not endanger the safety of others. Any passenger with a mental or physical disability or symptoms of any mental or physical illness that may affect their ability to travel must provide a medical certificate before boarding the ship, certifying their ability to do so.
6. In case of illness or accident, passengers may be transferred to land by the ship they are aboard or by another nearby vessel (depending on weather conditions) for medical care. The Shipping Company is not responsible for the quality of medical care at any port or location of disembarkation.
7. Pregnant women are advised to seek medical advice before traveling. In any case, they travel at their own risk.
8. Passengers must comply with the regulations of the Shipping Company, as well as with the instructions of the Captain and the crew, to maintain order and the safety of their fellow passengers and the ship.
9. Passengers must observe the ship's departure times at each port and be on board fifteen (15) minutes before departure. If they miss the departure, they are not entitled to a ticket refund, and the Shipping Company will not be responsible for transporting the passengers to their destination by alternative means.
10. Minor passengers (under 18 years old on the departure date) are not allowed to board the ship without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. Throughout the trip, minor passengers must remain under the supervision of their parent or guardian, especially not wandering alone on deck during bad weather. Minor passengers are not allowed to remain on the ship if their parent or guardian disembarks.
11. Animals and/or pets are not allowed on the ship, except for certified therapy dogs or guide dogs.
12. Passengers must immediately and fully compensate the Shipping Company for any expenses, including but not limited to fines, penalties, charges, or other costs incurred due to non-compliance with the ship’s rules or applicable laws.
13. Passengers should address any complaints during the trip to the Captain, and if not satisfied, to the Shipping Company.
14. Passengers should be particularly cautious of any slipperiness on the deck caused by adverse weather conditions or by other passengers after returning from swimming, taking into account that the crew cannot immediately clean all the deck surfaces. Therefore, if passengers suffer an accident due to this, neither the Captain, the crew, nor the Shipping Company will be held liable.
15. In case passengers injure themselves or cause injury or damage to another passenger due to sudden movements, running inside the ship, dancing, or various acts of carelessness, they are responsible for these actions, and neither the Captain nor the Shipping Company will be held liable.
THE SHIPPING COMPANY:
1. In the event of cancellation or delay of the trip due to the fault of the ship or adverse weather conditions, the Shipping Company will refund the ticket price to the passenger without any further obligation to the passenger or any third party.
2. The Shipping Company is not responsible for any delays, deviations, or failure to follow the regular route due to bad weather conditions, orders from the Ministry of Shipping and the Port Authorities, or force majeure reasons.
3. The Shipping Company reserves the right: a) to replace the ship for which the ticket was issued with another ship, b) to modify schedules, c) to accommodate passengers with another ship either on the same day or on another date.
4. The Shipping Company reserves the right to change published prices without prior notice. Passengers remain responsible for any taxes, fees, or surcharges imposed by government authorities.
5. The Captain, the crew, the Shipping Company, and the ship are not responsible for any loss of life or bodily harm that may occur when the passenger has disembarked and is on land at an intermediate port or after disembarking at the final port. For such events occurring on the ship or during the trip, the Shipping Company is only liable if the interested party can prove that the event was caused by gross negligence on the part of its employees.
6. The Captain, the crew, and the Shipping Company are not liable for any loss of life, injury, or other damage to passengers due to non-compliance with the instructions of the Captain, crew, or the Shipping Company: a) during the trip, b) during embarkation and disembarkation from a boat transferring passengers from the main ship to land and from land to the main ship, c) when traveling to and from land by swimming, d) when the ship is anchored and the passenger is swimming near it (swimming stop).
For cancellations, the following percentage of the paid fare is refunded (depending on the time of cancellation before departure):
Less than 24 hours before departure or if the passenger fails to appear at embarkation, the company has no obligation to refund the paid fare. Money is refunded only at the ticket office upon approval of the company.
